Your Trip

Mali is one of the most exciting and fascinating destinations in West Africa, and offers a wide diversity in geography and exploration possibilities.

Doudou can tailor your trip according to your interests, available time, and budget.

You can, for example, cruise the Niger River on a native pinasse, explore the Sahara Desert on a camel, Trek through the Dogon cliff villages, visit Djenne's famous Banco Mosque and the colorful market, or see the mysterious and fabled Timbiktu via a 4-wheel drive. Transportation

You will be picked up up at the airport in Bamako, Goa, or Mopti. You can choose ahead of time your mode of transportation: private car, air-conditioned 4-wheel drive vehicle with driver, taxi, or local transportation.

For trips that include traveling on the Niger River, Doudou will arrange a private pinasse with crew and chef. For the more adventurous, a public pinasse is available.

Accommodations

Your accommodations will be arranged according to the trip you have organized with Doudou. There are hotels and restaurants available in some areas, and in other areas encampments are the norm.

Payment

The price of your trip will include:

• all transportation and fuel
• lodging
• local guide where necessary
• tourist taxes for the entire trip
• all meals

Beverages are NOT included.

After you have finalized plans for your trip, Mr. Dolo will let you know the final cost. A 10% deposit is required to secure reservations for lodging and transportation.
