Certified professional guide, Dounerou Dolo (called Doudou by friends and clients) has been leading tours in the country of Mali for 14 years. Doudou is a Dogon from Sangha educated at the university of Bamako with masters degree in English and German, and is fluent in French and several native dialects (Dogon, Bambara, and Foulani).

Doudou's great grandfather was Ogotemmely Dolo, made famous in the book, Dieu d'eau: Conversations with Ogotemmely (1948) by Marcel Griaule, the renowned French anthropologist.

Having organized and guided many tours to all the different regions of Mali, Doudou is intimately familiar with his country and its people, and specializes in the Dogon Culture (his family lives in Sangha).
